Lance
Lanier is Staff Selection Manager at Chick-Fil-A, Incorporated headquarters in
Atlanta, Georgia. Mr.
Lanier joined Chick-Fil-A at the beginning of the year, and is responsible for
managing the selection process for all headquarters staff.
His role also encompasses improvements and enhancements to the process,
including employment branding, orientation and assimilation into the business,
and improving diversity. Mr.
Lanier was the Human Resource Director for the Corporate Finance Division of the
Coca-Cola Company prior to joining Chick-Fil-A, where he was responsible for
human resource strategy, building organization capability, and equipping
managers to interact more effectively with employees for the previous four
years. The Coca-Cola Company
recruited Mr. Lanier from GE, where he had started his career in human
resources. At GE, he completed
their Human Resource Leadership Program, and gained experience in staffing,
labor relations, employee relations, organization design, and change management.
Mr. Lanier helped create a wholly owned service subsidiary of GE in the
consumer service portion of the Appliances business.
A
native of Metter, Georgia, Mr. Lanier graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mercer
University with a Bachelor of Business Arts in Finance.
In 1991, he received his MBA with honors from Vanderbilt University with
a concentration in Human Resource Management.
Mr. Lanier and his wife, Lisa, live in Peachtree City with their two sons, Hunter and Harrison. |
